The formless human

When a human approaches a sport as his Mind,

he goes in with an agenda.

An agenda akin to one of solving a problem or cracking a puzzle.

The agenda "to play the sport".

For the Mind at its very nature approaches everything

as a "to-do" or as something to be figured out

or achieved with effort, steps, cues, and progress.

Such a human will never truly learn the sport.

He will learn his own version of the sport.

His version will be dictated by phased breakdowns and mental cues.

His version will also be dictated by programs and tracking.

Such things will be the crutches he will rely on for all his career.

Every training session will not train him.

They will train the crutches, possibly adding more of them,

and train his reliance on them.

All while there will be a layer of separation between him

and the sport.

A layer that will only thicken over time.

For where there are crutches to be relied upon,

there is always going to be self-doubt and angst

about their quality and effectiveness.

Also, when there is an active reliance on something,

there will also be internal questioning of the

reliance.

One must be able to see that there are many more such

"mini layers" that such a human has to deal with.

And also that how quickly these "mini layers" pile up,

and keep thickening the layer.

Such a human never gets to experience his training.

He experiences his crutches and his many emotions

towards his reliance on them.

Come competition time,

such a mind-full human will resort to his crutches to play the sport.

But wait,

he now has to fight another uphill battle.

The battle of him reproducing his skill of reliance on his crutches,

learned during training, in competition.

Boom.

More internal work and layers between him and the sport.

And this is just him by himself and the sport.

If this sport involves an opponent,

it will add more such layers and take his mind-fullness to another level.

If he is dealing with an injury,

it will complicate things even more.

And we have not yet considered other personal aspects,

such as his friends, family, and relationships,

and the kind of "mutation" it will cause to his approach to the sport.

One statement will summarize the depth of his graveness...

Such a human will not play the sport AS IS

and

He will never PLAY the sport

...

On the contrary,

A human being detached from his Mind,

is formless.

A formless, non-mind entity is unstoppable.

And before this is taken for an ideal,

I will say,

I imply not an ideal or a promise to "strive for".

In fact, I am challenging all promises and striving.

I imply the REAL DEAL.

I imply the ACTUALIZATION of being separated from the Mind.

Such a human will adapt to a sport or a discipline

and its movements AS IS.

He will have arrived at a whole and complete UNDERSTANDING of his body,

and how there is only one way for it to cater to his intentions.

He will have made the necessary realizations.

so that before even the thought of training arises,

he will dismiss it.

For he would know that the thought "to train",

and the act of training are completely different things.

Or the thought "to play" and the pure and fulfilling

act of playing are from two different universes.

In a competition,

the thought of competing or winning or defeating

will not arise.

For he will have recognized that these are his

real shackles towards PLAYING the sport.

Yes.

Every opportunity to execute,

is an opportunity to PLAY.

Even more so during competition.

For every chance at PLAYING is winning...

...without any hint of trial or effort.

Thank you.
