If you are an aimless wanderer vacuous of any thirst for true knowledge about your body or yourself,
I will warn you right away from this post.
This post or this website has nothing useful for you or your fickleness.
If you are an academic or an intellectual with a curiosity that you cannot seem to placate enough of,
I will warn you away from my website as well.
For my writings are devoid of any and all "new ideas" or "methodologies" or "technique".
For the thoughts that produce these words emanate from a place unbeknownst to yours.
If you are someone of either nature, in the strength, fitness or sports industry
and are "passionate" about making sense of the human body and its various capabilities,
I will waste not a single second and say ...
It does not matter what level of expertise you have accumulated,
you do not understand the human body.
You may think you do, but you do not.
You may think you know "something about it".
Yes, you will say that you have learned that something from some really famous
course or program or website or university or teacher or professor.
You may flash your very many badges of honor from all the institutions you have been associated with,
but it will fall flat on the face of the ultimate Truth ...
That which you think you know is a hundred times worse than not knowing it at all.
And that the "something" is causing you more harm than good.
~~~
On the contrary,
If you are that rare gem of a seeker, devoted to a path fueled by exploration and experimentation,
then I must tell you that unlike most of my writings,
this one will have something for you to take away instantly.
Something to augment the knowledge you have accumulated thus far, right away.
A few secrets ...
Secrets that only a legend at heart will appreciate.
Yes, you may not know it yet my friend, but legends are born, not bred.
The hours you have been spending lost in your journey
already make you one,
even if the world has not seen its fruition.
So, are you ready?
~~~
You are two.
You may think your body is one.
But that is not true.
Your body has two sides, left and right.
Each of those sides must be discovered to fully realize their individual strength.
The moment you are able to fully separate the left from the right and the right from the left, you will realize your unique, holistic strength.
Not any moment sooner.
Yes, my friend. One becomes integrated not by trying to be integrated,
but by understanding why they are not or what is stopping them to be.
~~~
The inherent locking mechanism
Each side has a way in which they will ultimately align themselves when exposed to load.
The 4 big muscle regions: the chest & upper back, the abs & ribs, the glutes, and the quads
will tend to act in unison, in an interlocking mechanism.
When realized completely, this will allow you to exert the most amount of force in a fluid and unhindered way.
The interlocking mechanism will appear to work in the following way ...
The chest/ upper back region will rotate out.
The abs/ ribs region will get sucked in.
The glutes will rotate out.
The quads will seem to rotate in.
However, be warned that you cannot forcefully make this happen and must realize this.
That is, you must not be greedy and understand and act in a way to let this surface on its own.
~~~
Use is the best protection.
If you look around, you will notice that when training, folks use various types of equipment
or ways of movement to "protect" certain parts of their body such as their lower back or knees.
But, as you may have already noticed,
the body is times smarter than you think it is.
So when training, you do not need to worry about protecting it.
So, as long as your priority lies somewhere between seeing
what you are truly capable of and also uncovering the layers and/or journeying the depths,
do your best to let your body take the whole of the resistance.
Spread the wings as if you are about to take a flight, but also contain,
as if to draw in the energy from the load and the earth
Express yourself fully, for that which you expose, you use.
And that which you use, with complete awareness, is protected, by itself.
Let these secrets act as a guide during times
you are confused or agitated.
Let these secrets find their way into the deepest
corners of your body, so that it can do the things,
your mind would otherwise not believe.
Let these secrets spare you the years
you might have otherwise spent fighting your way,
into becoming the Invincible.
